Marymount School
started operations eight years ago as a preschool and nursery institution. In September 2014 it opened its doors to its first set of Primary School pupils. We are now entering another phase of our existence with the introduction to an affiliate School. The Marymount School, Indian Section – to cater to the needs of the growing population of Indians within Lekki, Victoria Island and Ikoyi. At present, the only Indian School available to serve this population is the Indian Language School situated in Ilupeju.
The desire of a great proportion of parents is for a school which will provide modern Indian education, with good facilities and infrastructure and situated close to home without having to travel great distances given the issues o traffic congestion and attendant security risks. There was therefore a perceived need for a neighborhood school capable o meeting these needs. School which are no more than a couple of miles from allow pupils to participate fully in out – of- classroom activities.
